Women's Campaign School FAQs

Have a question about WCS 2015? Ask us in the comments below!

Who can attend Women's Campaign School?

A:

All self-identified women are welcome to attend Women's Campaign School including trans women and queer women. We endeavour to make Women's Campaign School is a safe space for all women. Many of our events are open to men but Women's Campaign School is a women-only event.

Why are you holding WCS 2015 in Victoria?

A:

This year we have been offered the unique opportunity to hold WCS in the Chambers at the Legislative Assembly. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for women to sit in the Chambers and be inspired by the beautiful setting while learning key campaign skills.

Usually the Women's Campaign School is held in the Lower Mainland. Every year we get requests from women all over Canada who want WCS to be held in their community. Because we have had offers of volunteers and space in Victoria this year we have decided to hold the event in that community.

Should I book my own accomodations?

A:

YES! We recommend that you book your accomodations early. There are many hotels, hostels, motels, and B&Bs to choose from in Victoria but early bookings are a good idea to get the best rates.

Attendees may choose to make private arrangements to split the cost of travel and accomodations.
