Women's Campaign School 2016

The Program:

Women’s Campaign School (WCS) is the longest-running campaign school of its kind in Canada; since its inception in 1999, nearly 600 students have attended.

The goal of this program is to provide self-identified women the information and skills necessary to run an effective political campaign. The skills taught at this program are relevant whether you're running for a position at the municipal, provincial or federal level--or if you're looking to support someone who is!

This program features speakers who are veteran elected officials or campaign organizers/support staff from all parties, all of whom are coming together at this non-partisan event to share practical skills and first-hand experiences.

Due to the tremendous success of last year's event format and location, this year's Women's Campaign School will be held in the Chambers of the Legislative Assembly of BC in beautiful Victoria, BC. In this inspirational setting participants will learn the building blocks of running a campaign from our seasoned experts. They will then have the opportunity to practice their new skills by developing and presenting their own campaign plans to presenters for feedback.

Can't do the full weekend program? No sweat! We have single day tickets available, as well as early bird (until May 31st!), student and volunteer rates (limit of 10 volunteers).

Payment for registration is not tax deductible.

Please note: Entrance into the Legislative Assembly is free for all visitors; registration and payment is only require to participate in Campaign School.
